Ram Rajya is not just a kingdom for Hindus : Retired Supreme Court Justice Abhay Oak

Pune – Currently, ‘Ram Rajya’ is interpreted as a state of Hindus only. Mahatma Gandhi proposed the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’, an ideal state based on freedom, truth and non-violence, using Ram as its symbol. These Gandhian ideas are also embedded in the Indian Constitution, said retired Supreme Court judge Abhay Oak. (Whatever Gandhi’s concept of Ram Rajya may be, the Hindu community is well aware that a state with an ideal system, Hindu ideology and Hindutva is Ram Rajya or Hindu Rashtra. Therefore, no one should try to divide the minds of Hindus by making such statements. – Editor) Gandhi Week was organised by Maharashtra Gandhi Smarak Nidhi and Yuvak Kranti Dal. In it, Oak spoke on the topic Constitutional Duties of Citizens.

Justice Oak further said, “The Constitution has given freedom of expression; therefore, it does not mean that we can say whatever comes to our mind. Currently, there are attempts to stifle freedom of thought. Sedition cases are filed when ideas are expressed through jokes, poems, and films. The wrong concept of development leads to environmental degradation. A pollution-free and peaceful life is the right of everyone; but unfortunately, the pollution of thoughts has also increased.” (It should be kept in mind that the pollution of thoughts is caused by communists, progressives, secularists, socialists, and anti-Hinduists. – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

Since Hindus are tolerant in India, anyone stands up and tries to intimidate Hindus. Would the former judge have had the audacity to say that Islamic rule is not a rule based on Quran and Sharia ?
