Telangana Congress Chief Minister leaves Secretariat due to Vastu defect !

He is working from the ‘Police Command Center’

Bhagyanagar (Telangana) – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is not staying in the new state secretariat building due to Vastu defects and is doing all his work from the high-security ‘Telangana Police Command and Control Centre’ located at ‘Banjara Hills’.

1. Due to some Vastu defects in the new secretariat building, the Chief Minister does not live there. A senior official close to the Chief Minister said that the 7-storey building, which was built at a cost of Rs 650 crore in the year 2023, houses the grand office of Chief Minister. It also has offices of ministers, chief secretaries and high-ranking officials.

2. The new building was completed during the tenure of former Chief Minister of Telangana and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BSM) chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who inaugurated the Secretariat on 30 April 2023.  New secretariat building was constructed by K. Chandrashekhar Rao, as old building was not in compliance with Vastushastra. He, in his 2 tenures of Chief Minister spanning over 10 years, visited  the old secretariat only 24 times. He was conducting his work from his residence at Pragati Bhavan.

3. People close to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy say that since becoming the Chief Minister, he has been feeling uneasy in the new building repeatedly.  Defects were observed in the building. Information of several meetings of Chief Minister Reddy was leaked. Also the ‘phone-tapping’ scam that occurred earlier this year has led to him conducting work from the ‘Police Command and Control Centre’.
