Nagpur – Last week, a woman passenger died on the spot after a speeding truck hit her bike. Since no one on the highway came forward to help him take her body home, her desperate husband carried it on his bike and reached home. The video of this incident went viral on social media. The police were investigating the accident. They had the information that there was a red mark on the truck. The police solved the case through artificial intelligence and arrested the truck driver. This is the first crime in the state to be solved in this way.
1. The police took the help of a government organisation, ‘Marvel’. For this, they collected 12 hours of CCTV footage from three toll plazas and solved the case using the AI algorithm.
2. They traced the truck causing the accident based on its speed and the red mark. The truck driver was later arrested in Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh.
