Mohammad Karim converts to Hinduism in Uttar Pradesh

Renamed to Aman Shah

Mohammad Karim accepted Hinduism.

Lakshmanpuri (Uttar Pradesh)– A Muslim youth Mohammad Karim from Gorakhpur converted to Hinduism at Shri Neelkanth Temple in Laxmanpuri, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Acharya Kuldeep Shukla initiated him to Hinduism by performing havan and puja by the Vedic method in the temple. With this, he was renamed as Aman Shah. At this time, Aman took a bath with Ganga water and then consumed gomutra. The event was led by Hindu Devprakash Shukla, national president of Rashtriya Yuva Vahini.

Talking to the media after converting to Hinduism, Aman Shah said, ‘Sanatan Dharma is the oldest and tolerant religion in the world. It gives the individual complete freedom and respect. ‘I have taken this decision with all my will and understanding. There is no pressure of any sort on me.’

1,000 people from the Sikh community have also re-entered Hinduism

About 1,000 members of the Sikh community, who converted to Christianity, performed ‘Ghar wapsi’ (re-entry into Hinduism) due to the continuous efforts of Sikh organisations. This information was given at a press conference held by ‘the All India Sikh Punjabi Kalyan Parishad’ and ‘’Lucknow Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee’ in Lakshanpuri. The national president of the council said that an estimated 22,000 people live in Pilibhit in 12 villages bordering NepallikeBelha, Tatarganj upazila Singhara, Vamanpuri etc.. The majority of the people in these villages belong to the Sikh community. Christian missionaries have converted here on a large scale, taking advantage of superstition, illiteracy and lack of basic facilities.
