Appeal from the ‘Bharat Hindu Munnani’ organization in Tamil Nadu

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) – Judge Murugeshan of Alandur Court in Chennai has admitted his 5-year-old daughter to a government school. Bharat Hindu Munnani has congratulated him, saying that this is a very commendable thing. The President of ‘Bharat Hindu Munnani’, Shri. R.D. Prabhu has appealed to the Chief Minister that the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, Judges, Indian Administrative and Police Service officers of Tamil Nadu who receive government salaries and other benefits should also consider enacting a law to provide education to their children in government schools. Mr. Prabhu gave this information to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’.
1. While the Education Minister of Tamil Nadu, Anbil Mahesh, has stated that government schools offer quality education, it would further reinforce public confidence if policymakers, including the Chief Minister and other ministers, chose to enroll their own children in these schools.

2. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should improve the quality of government schools by passing a law and reduce the popularity of private schools. If this is done, it will be an example for the whole of India.
3. Bharat Hindu Munnani has said that if officials like Chennai’s Judge Murugesan admit their children in government schools, the quality of management of government schools will improve. It will also raise the educational standard of poor students studying there.
