Chamrajnagar (Karnataka) – During a science exhibition at a private school, a minor Muslim student displayed a project featuring two graves with two coffins, each containing a doll. One doll was dressed in a burqa while the other was dressed in short clothing. The burqa-clad doll was placed in a coffin decorated by flowers, whereas the other doll was placed in a coffin surrounded by snakes and scorpions. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, the student claims that if one wears a burqa, their body remains intact after death. However, if one wears short clothes, they will go to hell, where snakes and scorpions will consume their body.

Following the video’s circulation, the education department has ordered an investigation into the matter.
1. Citing Islamic books as the reference, the student further added that a man who allows his wife to move around without a burqa is immoral.
2. This statement has drawn widespread criticism. Many have questioned how such claims can be made within an educational setting.
3. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamiya and Vice Chief Minister D.K.Shivkumar are facing questions on social media, with demands for immediate action and an investigation.
4. Chamarajanagar’s Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI), Rajendra Raje Urs confirmed the authenticity of the viral video and stated that authorities are looking into the matter.
