Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s allegations

New Delhi – The Maha Kumbha in Prayagraj officially concluded on February 27. During this period, 66.3 crore people from across the country and abroad took a holy bath; however, Congress leaders, as well as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray did not go to the Maha Kumbha. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale criticised them for this. He said Rahul Gandhiji and our Uddhav Thackeray Saheb did not go to the Kumbha Mela. Are Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray Hindus or not ? If they were Hindus, they should have gone to the Kumbha Mela; but these people did not go. That means that they do not believe in Hinduism. Therefore, Hindu people should not vote for them in the upcoming elections. Then they would regret not going to the Kumbha Mela.

Athawale further said that the Kumbha Mela was neither of Modi nor Yogi. Kumbha was of Hindus abiding by their religion. Gandhi and Thackeray, expected to remain present at the Kumbha Mela held after 144 years, but they did not go. That is why the people have kept them away from power. From now on, the people will teach them a lesson and their political authority will degrade.
