Maha Kumbha is not happening after 144 years : Mamata Banerjee

Anti-Hindu Mamata Banerjee’s rant

Kolkata – Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Tuesday that claims about Maha Kumbh happening after 144 years is “not true”. She said, “If I have a misconception, then you guys can correct me. Maha Kumbha is happening after 144 years is not correct.”

Mamata Banerjee said the Maha Kumbha takes place every 12 years. “Those who are saying Maha Kumbha is happening after 144 years, it took place in 2014 as well. As far as I have heard,” she said. The BJP has criticized Mamata Banerjee for this statement.

Mamata Banerjee’s statement influenced by the politics of appeasement !

Taking a jibe at Banerjee, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari posted in his X Handle that, “Her repeated misleading statements appear to be politically motivated and an attempt to undermine and belittle the holy events of Sanatan Dharma”.

BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty has strongly responded to Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s remarks regarding the Maha Kumbha and said that her statements are inaccurate as 70 crore people attended and took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam that proves the immense influence of Sanatana Dharma.

Editorial Perspective

No astrologer or saint in the country has objected to this, so why is Muslim-sympathiser Mamata Banerjee the only one who feels this way ? Hindu devotees are going to the Maha Kumbha with faith and taking a holy bath in the Triveni Sangam and getting spiritual benefits, while born Hindus like Mamata Banerjee are degrading themselves by making such statements !
