Nowadays, most women wear ‘casual makeup’ while going to work, doing outdoor chores or while attending any event, to look attractive in society. ‘What is the spiritual effect of wearing casual make-up on women ? ‘ To study the spiritual effect of casual makeup on women research was conducted at Ramnathi ashram using the ‘UAS (Universal Aura Scanner)’. The interpretation and spiritual analysis of the observations in this study are given next.

Mr. Ashish Sawant using the U.A.S. device for the experiment

Scientific research was conducted with the ‘UAS (Universal Aura Scanner)’ to study the effect of  performing dance, on the aura of that individual. With this device, negative and positive energy auras of objects, premises and individuals can be measured.

1. Analysis of the observations in the study :  In this study, UAS readings were taken of an individual with severe spiritual distress and an individual without spiritual distress before applying casual make-up and afterwards. UAS readings were taken hourly to study how long the effect of the make-up remains on the individuals. The study was stopped after the readings came to the baseline level. The effect of the make-up on both the individuals is given ahead.

Individuals in the study Negative Energy Aura (Metre) Positive Energy Aura (Metre)
1. Individual with spiritual distress Before make-up 1.78 0
After make-up 1.84 0
2. Individual without spiritual distress Before make-up 1.08 1.08
After make-up 2.59 0

The points given next are understood from the above table.

1. Individual with spiritual distress : The negative energy aura in the individual with spiritual distress increased after doing make-up. (The effect of make-up on her sustained up to total 3 hours.)

2. Individual without spiritual distress : The negative energy aura in the individual with no spiritual distress increased after make-up and her positive energy aura was nullified. (The effect of the make-up on her sustained for 2 hours.)

Conclusion : It became clear from this scientific study that even doing casual make-up is spiritually harmful.

3. Spiritual analysis of the observations in the study

3 A. The reason of the negative effect on the women doing casual make-up : The women in the study had used cosmetics and accessories from renowned brands for casual make-up, that is Compact face powder, blush, lipstick, mascara, mousse and a powder brush. The study revealed negative energy aura (distressing vibrations) in the cosmetics and accessories used by the individuals for their make-up. (Detailed research on cosmetics and accessories is given in a separate article.) Doing make-up using cosmetics emitting distressing vibrations, increased the distressing vibrations on the individuals.

3 B. Individuals having done casual make-up were negatively affected and the negative effect continued for a few hours : The individual with spiritual distress was suffering from negative energies. (In today’s society, most of the people suffer from distress due to negative energies to a small or large extent.) After the individual applied make-up, the negative energy centres in her body were awakened and remained activated to absorb more negative energy. Hence the distressing energy in her increased.

After make-up, the black covering around the individual without spiritual distress increased, also the distressing vibrations from the surroundings were attracted towards her. Therefore the negative energy in her increased and her positive energy was nullified. Casual make-up affected both of them very much adversely with the effect remaining for 2 to 3 hours. This shows how ‘spiritually harmful it is for women to wear make-up’. (Studies conducted by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay on 8 to 10 other individuals with and without spiritual problems on make-up also showed this. These individuals were Indian as well as Westerners but the effect on them was similar. A lot of research has also been performed on the heavy make-up done during big events, parties etc. That study has been published in another article. – Compiler)

4. Ladies, instead of improving external beauty, increase your spiritual beauty : These days, majority of women are giving importance to doing ‘make-up’ to  enhance their beauty. External beauty gives momentary pleasure; but it does not help spiritually; on the contrary, it harms. Therefore, instead of increasing external beauty, it is better to do ‘spiritual practice’ (daily efforts for attainment of God that is attainment of happiness) to increase one’s spiritual beauty. Due to spiritual practice, the six foes or defects of the jiva (embodied soul) like lust, anger etc are removed and the impurity of the mind decreases, and becomes purer and more Sattvik. The Sattvikta generated by spiritual practice bestows spiritual beauty on a person. As one’s spiritual practice increases one’s Sattvikta also increases and one starts experiencing bhav (spiritual emotion), Chaitanya ( Divine Consciousness) and Anand (Bliss). Due to consistency in spiritual practice the individual remains in communion with God. If women follow the rituals prescribed in Achardharma (Hindu Code of righteous conduct) for example, applying a kumkum on the forehead, wearing a sari, wearing the hair in a braid or bun, wearing Sattvik ornaments etc. their progress in Sadhana (Spiritual practice) will be rapid. Also, spiritualising every action (doing every action in such a way that it happens as Sadhana) will increase Sadhana. This will benefit the women themselves spiritually, as well as their family and society. Ladies, keep in mind that ‘Spiritual beauty is true beauty’ and start Sadhana today !
