Arrangements made for prisoners in Unnao Jail to bathe in sacred Triveni Sangam water

Unnao (Uttar Pradesh) – Inmates at the Unnao District Jail were allowed to receive the spiritual merit of the Maha Kumbha Mela by bathing in the sacred water of Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. The Unnao District Jail administration made special arrangements for this initiative, and a video of prisoners bathing in the Sangam’s water within the jail premises has surfaced.

Water from Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam was poured into a small artificial pond created within the jail compound, allowing inmates to bathe in it. As they took their ritual bath, the prisoners chanted ‘Har Har Gange’ with devotion. After bathing in the sacred Sangam water, they also offered oblations to the Sun God.

Unnao District Jail Superintendent Pankaj Kumar Singh has been praised for arranging this sacred bathing experience for the inmates.
