Minor girl molested by salon owner Akram while getting a haircut

Kichha (Uttarakhand) – A 13-year-old Hindu girl was molested by Akram, the Muslim owner of a salon, while she had gone for a haircut with her mother. As the mother stepped outside to attend a phone call, Akram began molesting the girl. The victim’s mother has lodged a Police complaint against Akram, following which the Police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested him.

1. A Hindu woman from the Kichha Kotwali area, Uttarakhand, had taken her daughter to a salon for a haircut. While the mother was outside, Akram engaged in obscene acts with the minor girl.

2. The girl screamed, prompting her mother to rush inside. The terrified girl narrated the incident, following which the mother created an uproar. Akram began pleading for forgiveness, but upon noticing people gathering, he fled the scene.

3. Locals revealed that Akram had committed similar acts with multiple girls in the past. When the Police produced Akram before the Court, he was remanded to judicial custody.
