Neha Hiremath Murder Case in Hubballi (Karnataka)

Hubballi (Karnataka) – Justice has not been done even after 9 months since the murder of Neha Hiremath, a college student. Therefore, Neha’s father, Niranjan Hiremath, a Congress corporator, demanded a CBI inquiry. As the State Government failed to provide justice within 120 days, despite their assurance there is no progress in the case. Some MLAs were behind the murder, therefore, the Neha’s father demanded that the investigation of that case be handed over to the CBI. Hiremath did not name the MLAs. Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik also demanded a CBI inquiry. It is alleged that some big names were involved in that case.
On April 18, 2024, student Neha Hiremath was brutally murdered at BVB Engineering College in Vidyanagar, Hubballi. Accused Fayaz killed Neha out of anger over her rejection of his love. The police arrested Fayaz soon after; however, Fayaz has not been punished yet.
