New Delhi – “The news of the stampede at Prayagraj Maha Kumbha that claimed the lives of many people and injured many others is extremely saddening. I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and hope for a speedy recovery of the injured. This tragic incident is due to mismanagement and the administration’s special focus on the activities of VIPs over ordinary devotees. The Maha Kumbha will continue for many more days, many more Mahasnans will be held.
