
Moscow (Russia) – On the eve of 26 th January, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia-India relations are based on a ‘special and privileged strategic partnership’. He expressed hope that both countries will continue to work together to enhance bilateral cooperation across all sectors. On the occasion of India’s 76 th Republic Day, Putin extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Putin mentioned that the strategic partnership and bilateral relations between Russia and India are in the fundamental interest of their peoples and align with efforts to create a fair multi-polar international order. President Putin is expected to visit India this year, although the date of the visit has not yet been confirmed.
