Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – After 150 years, the Shankaracharya of Sringeri Peeth has participated in the Kumbha Mela. Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati of Sringeri Peeth has arrived at the Maha Kumbha Kshetra. Earlier, the guru’s guru of Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati’s had come to the Kumbha Mela 150 years ago. This event is being looked at as auspicious as such a long period has passed in between.
After the arrival of Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to his ashram in Kumbha Kshetra, met and honoured him.’ The arrival of Shankaracharya of Sringeri Peeth has completed the Maha Kumbha. This will further enhance the splendour of the Maha Kumbha,’ expressed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on this occasion.
Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati also welcomed the Chief Minister by offering auspicious coconut. On this occasion, the Chief Minister informed Shankaracharya about the arrangements for the Maha Kumbha, the contribution of the Saints in it, and the devotees coming from various countries of the world to the Maha Kumbha. On this auspicious occasion, Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati praised the arrangements of the Maha Kumbha Mela and blessed Yogi Adityanath. Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekhara Bharati will be in the Maha Kumbha Kshetra till Mouni Amavasya.
