Pakistan’s former Muslim cricketer criticises
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Bangladesh cricket board has declared its 15-player team for the ‘Champion Trophy 2025’. Experienced wicketkeeper Litton Das has not been included in this team, leading to a controversy. Pakistan’s former cricketer Basit Ali has said that it was religious discrimination against Litton. Basit asked, “On what basis has Litton has been excluded ? He recently scored a century; but he was dropped just because he is a non-Muslim. This is a great injustice to Litton. The Bangladesh team is incomplete without Litton Das.”
