
Islamabad, Pakistan – In two separate incidents in Pakistan’s Sindh province, two Hindu girls were abducted, converted and forcibly married to Muslims.
A 10-year-old Hindu girl was abducted, forcibly converted to Islam in Sindh province and later married to a Muslim man named Shahid Talpur.
In another incident in Pakistan’s Sanghar area, a 15-year-old Hindu girl was abducted and forcibly married to a 50-year-old Muslim man.
In the rural areas of Sindh province, minor girls of the Hindu community are the most vulnerable, and cases of kidnapping, forced conversion and child marriage have become common. This problem exposes the inaction of the local administration.
