In Bandra (Mumbai), a school building with a Christian name is being constructed after opposition to build a mosque at the same site

Locals suspect a conspiracy by Muslims to create a religious site under the guise of a school

Signage put up at the site of construction

Mumbai, 2ndNovember  – In Bandra (West), a grand building named ‘Mount Mary International School’ is being constructed by the ‘Mount Mary Educational Trust.’ Although the name may suggest it to be a convent school, the Trust that is constructing the building has all Muslims on the board as trustees; therefore, locals suspect that a religious site for Muslims is being built here under the guise of a school.

According to the information shared by the locals, a few years ago, the location, where this school building is being constructed, was a small ‘chawl’. Over time, residents were gradually removed, and namaz (prayer) started being conducted there. Facilities for ‘wuzu (washing hands and feet before prayer)’ were also arranged. However, when attempts to construct a mosque on the site began, locals opposed it. Currently, a building is being constructed at the same location under the name ‘Mount Mary International School.’

Formation of a Trust under a Christian name after opposition to the mosque

The registration of the ‘Mount Mary Educational Trust,’ which is constructing the building for ‘Mount Mary International School,’ took place on 30thAugust 2005. This Trust is registered in the name of Mohammad Siddique, with other trustees who are Muslims. The Trust was registered only after opposition to the construction of a mosque at this site. Moreover, why the Trust with all Muslims as trustees on its board should have a name as ‘Mount Mary Educational Trust’ ? The entire matter seems to be fishy.

Municipal Corporation yet to grant permission for the school

The school building is being constructed on a small area of 523.60 square meters, making it difficult to provide any playground for the school. Although the Trust has obtained approval from the Education Department, no information regarding the school’s plan, procedure for students’ admission, or facilities to be provided has been submitted to the Education Department or the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Still, the Trust has started construction of the school building.

Editorial Perspective

There seems to be no limit to the scheming of fanatical Muslims. One cannot even imagine the extent to which they would go to achieve ‘land jihad’ by deception and land-grabbing. Hence, it would not be surprising if they built a mosque in the name of Christians. It shows that the Hindu unity and pressure exerted by them is still not enough to get laws enacted by the Government to oppose such jihad activities by Muslims and to compel the Government to take action.
