Amravati – On 4th October, thousands of religious fanatics gathered at Ghaziabad’s Shri Dasana Devi Temple. Fanatics wanted to spread fear among the Hindus gathered at the temple for Navaratri festival (How long will the Hindu community live in fear of religious fanatics ?- Editor). Fanatics besieged the temple from all sides to spread terror. Now, similar scenes are being reported all around the country including Amravati, where Muslim fanatics attacked the Police. They were shouting slogans of, ‘Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek hi saza, sar tan se juda’ (Only punishment for an insult to Prophet Mohammed is beheading) They started pelting stones, in which more than 30 Police personnel were injured. Police had to resort to lathi-charge and tear gas as the mob went out of control. More than 22 Police vehicles were damaged. Additional Police force has been deployed in Amravati now.
