Controversial action by Karnataka Police

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Three days ago, a Ganesh idol immersion procession was attacked by Muslims using petrol bombs in Nagamangala, Mandya District. This incident has sparked widespread outrage against the Congress Government in Karnataka.

Signs of Congress Government’s fall; Hindus react

Devotees present during the incident expressed their anger, stating that the insult to Shri Ganesh signifies the fall of the Congress Government. Many have expressed their outrage that this Government, which insults Hindu Deities, will not last long.

On the evening of 13th September, devout Hindus in Bengaluru protested against the incident in Nagamangala, carrying a Ganesh idol with them. The Police took action against the protesting Hindus and detained them. Shockingly, the Police also forcibly took the Ganesh idol from the hands of the devotees and placed it inside a Police vehicle, typically used for transporting offenders. This act shocked the gathered Hindus, and videos of the incident have gone viral, leading to widespread condemnation from Hindus across the country.

Editorial Perspectives

  • The question arises, do the Police officials in Karnataka belong to India or Pakistan, when they treat a revered Ganesh idol like a criminal. Any Hindu whose blood doesn’t boil upon reading about such disrespect towards Hindu Deities in a Congress-ruled State cannot be called a Hindu.
  • Can the Police even imagine doing something like this regarding any Muslim religious symbol ? This incident highlights the extreme tolerance of Hindus, which now needs to be reconsidered.
  • Since the Hindus of Karnataka have elected the anti-Hindu Congress, what else do they expect from its Police ? We must accept that all the Hindus in the State are responsible for this situation.
