Kasganj (UP) – The body of advocate Mohini Tomar, who went missing from the entrance of the district court here, was found in the Hazara Canal on 3^rdSeptember. This information has been given by the Police recently. The Police have arrested 4 people including Haider and Mustafa in this case.

1. The first case is that after losing a local cricket match, Haider, Mustafa and Salman both abused and beat up a Hindu, Shivshankar. Advocate Mohini Tomar was fighting this case in the court on behalf of Shiv Shankar. Shivshankar said that when it appeared that this case would go to the High Court, I and advocate Tomar received threats. Tomar’s husband has also confirmed this.

2. In January 2018, Muslims attacked Hindus during the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ held here. A religious Hindu named Chandan Gupta alias Abhishek was killed in it. Advocate Tomar also opposed the bail of Munajir Rafi, accused of his murder.

3. The killing of Tomar enraged the local Hindus and blocked the village roads. Advocates also protested by sitting on the highway.
