Lucknow (UP) – On 10th September, a group of fanatical Muslims attacked a Ganesh Pandal, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’, and pelted stones, breaking the urn placed near the Ganesh idol. Fanatics threaten to stop worship or face dire consequences

In her complaint, Kiran Chaurasia mentioned, ‘Like every year, we installed the Ganesh idol with proper rituals this year as well. From the very next day, a group of 20-25 fanatics, including both minors and young men, began harassing us. Every evening, from 7 to 7:30 pm, we perform the aarti. During this time, the fanatics passed by the Ganesh Pandal, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and other provocative slogans. They even threatened the Hindus performing the aarti. The mob continuously tried to disrupt our worship. On the evening of 10th September, when some women and girls were performing aarti as usual, a mob of fanatical Muslims attacked the Pandal, attempting to vandalise the Ganesh idol and pelted stones. They also smashed the urn placed there and threatened to stop the worship or face severe consequences’.

Following this incident, Kiran filed a Police complaint, demanding action against the accused.

Protest by devout Hindus

After learning of the incident, activists from various devout-Hindu organisations reached the Police Station and staged a protest, demanding action against the perpetrators. Currently, a heavy Police force has been deployed near the Ganesh Pandal.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Whether in Bangladesh, where Muslims are the majority, or in India, where they are a minority but united, Muslims consistently overpower Hindus and attack them. On the contrary, Hindus remain divided and do not receive support from their leaders. This is a shameful situation for Hindus ! In order to change this plight of Hindus, it is essential to establish Hindu Rashtra.
  • Is Lucknow in India or Pakistan ? If this is the condition of Hindus in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, imagine the plight of Hindus in rural areas !
  • Religious fanatics fear neither the Police, the Administration, the Government, nor the Courts, and thus openly attack Hindus. Hindus feel that the Government should take bold action and immediately run bulldozers over the houses of such attackers !
