14 Muslims guilty of creating a nationwide network of conversion of Hindus

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – In the case of the illegal conversion of Hindus, the court of National Investigation Agency found 14 Muslims guilty including Maulana Umar Gautam and Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui. A gang of all these was working in Fatehpur. They were convicted under Sections 417, 120B, 153A, 153B, 295A, 121A and 123 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3, 4 and 5 relating to illegal conversion. Justice Vivekananda Sharan Tripathi will sentence all the convicts soon.

What is the matter ?

It was revealed in the year 2022 that a gang led by Maulana Umar Gautam and Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui was training countrywide conversions. The gang targets economically weaker sections of people, as well as the physically challenged. They used to convert such people through alluring or fear and coercion. If the converts are pressurised, they should force their relatives to convert to Islam as well. For this, these converts were given special training. In this, it was said that how to enlighten Hindus by providing misleading information about their religion. The investigating agency informed the court that the gang had woven a nationwide network. For this work, the convicts were also provided money from abroad through hawala.

This verdict proves that the ‘conspiracy to convert Hindus is going on at the national level’. Now, will the Union government make a nationwide strict anti-conversion law ?
