Karnataka Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stops his speech for azan

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated a super speciality hospital at Shivajinagar in Bengaluru. At this time, when Chief Minister Siddaramaiah started his speech, azan started from a nearby mosque. Siddaramaiah stopped his speech on hearing the azan and stood still. He didn’t say anything till the azan was over, i.e. for about 5 minutes. After the azan, he started his speech.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Do the Congress leaders ever stop their speech for aarti ?
  • Why did Siddaramaiah not give the order to verify the sound of azan from the mosque ? How many decibels was it ? Was permission taken to install a loudspeaker on that mosque ? This should also be investigated.
