Prayagraj Mahakumbha Mela 2025

Prayagraj, 18 January – During the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in June 2024, I had suggested a measure: Every Akhada should display a banner saying, “We support the Hindu Rashtra.” The Government of India must declare India as a Hindu Rashtra at the earliest. Today, during the Mahakumbha Mela, such efforts have gained momentum. All Akhadas have become active, and the saints attending the Mahakumbha have firmly resolved that India must be declared a Hindu Rashtra. Pressure will be exerted on the Government to achieve this. At every corner of the Mahakumbha, banners promoting the Hindu Rashtra have been displayed.
This guidance was delivered on 18 January by H.H. Saint Shriram Gyanidas Mahatyagi, President of the Mahatyagi Seva Sansthan, Gondia, Maharashtra.
H.H. Saint Shriram Gyanidas Mahatyagi also visited the Sanatan’s Book Exhibition at Sector 19, Mori Marg, during the Mahakumbha Mela. Speaking during his visit, he praised the efforts of the Sanatan Sanstha and expressed his support. On this occasion, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s National Guide, Dr Charudatta Pingale, felicitated H.H. Saint Shriram Gyanidas Mahatyagi with a garland. Shri Sunil Ghanwat, State Coordinator of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, was also present.
H.H. Saint Shriram Gyanidas Mahatyagi further said, “Sanatan Sanstha’s goal is to see India become a Hindu Rashtra. For this purpose, I have been associated with the Sanatan Sanstha for the past 15 years. At the Dharma Sansad, organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on 25, 26, and 27 January at the Kumbha Kshetra, gatherings of saints, youth, and women will be held to create awareness about declaring India as a Hindu Rashtra. These conventions have been organised with the goal of establishing a Hindu Rashtra. Whenever Hindus have awakened, the nation has been saved from crises. I feel that, after 500 years of waiting, Shri Ram Lalla has been reinstated in Ayodhya, and Shri Ram has been crowned. Ramrajya will undoubtedly be established in India, but this will happen only after India is declared a Hindu Rashtra.”
