Waghoda (Jalgaon) – On January 16, during a sandal (procession) carried out by Muslims in Waghoda, banners of Aurangzeb, Tipu Sultan, and the Owaisi brothers were displayed. Despite two days passing since the sandal, the police have not taken any action, leading to anger among Hindus. “When Hindus display banners of Afzal Khan’s defeat, the police act on their own. Why are they silent now? The state government must take strict action regarding this matter,” demand the local Hindus.

1. A sandal was taken out by the Muslim community in Waghoda. (An inquiry must also determine whether proper permissions were taken or if this procession was unauthorized! – Editor)
2. Among the large Muslim crowd in the procession, some youth carried objectionable banners.
3. These banners featured Tipu Sultan, Aurangzeb, and leaders of AIMIM (All India Majlis- e-Ittehadul Muslimeen), including Asaduddin Owaisi, Akbaruddin Owaisi, and Imtiaz Jaleel. (How can banners of Aurangzeb, who brutally killed Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj, be allowed in Maharashtra, the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj? Why don’t the police take action on their own? The state must impose a ban on such images. – Editor)
4. One of the banners featuring the Owaisi brothers included the words “15 minutes,” a provocative reference. No action has been taken against those responsible for such inflammatory banners.
5. Local police were present at the sandal but did not intervene in this matter.
Police inaction attributed to lack of complaintsIt is being said that no one has lodged a complaint with the police regarding these banners, which is why no action has been taken. The police have also not provided any information about the incident. (If this is the case, Hindus must lodge complaints, and police should act on such incidents independently. The matter should also be brought to the attention of the Home Ministry. After gaining power under the “Ek hain toh safe hain” slogan, there must be visible efforts to protect Hindus! – Editor) |
