Love Jihad in Mainpuri (UP) : Frustrated of harassment by Wasif Ansari, Hindu girl commits suicide

She was threatened with circulating her obscene pictures and an acid attack if she refused to marry

Mainpuri (UP) – A report has emerged that on 29th July, a Hindu girl committed suicide here. A Love Jihadi named Mohammed Wasif Ansari was pressuring her to convert to Islam. He threatened to make her obscene photos viral on social media and throw acid on her if she did not comply. Frustrated by this constant harassment, she hanged herself at her home.

1. The girl was pursuing a B.Sc. degree, while Mohammed works as a driver in Delhi.

2. On 3rd August, after the girl’s father filed a Police complaint, a case was registered against Mohammed.

3. Mainpuri Police Commissioner Vinod Kumar said on ‘X’ that the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.

Heart-wrenching statement by the victim’s father in the complaint

In the complaint, the deceased victim’s father stated,

1. My daughter had informed us about Wasif Ansari’s actions, who is a resident of Gharnajpur locality. Fearing defamation, I did not contact the local Police.

2. When I complained about this matter to Wasif’s father, Aslam, and his brother, Salim, they abused me and said that Wasif would marry only my daughter.

3. It was due to Wasif’s threats that my daughter committed suicide.
