Hezbollah attacks Israel following the killing of its commander

Hezbollah rockets illuminate night sky over Israel in retaliation for Commander Fuad Shukur`s Killing

Jerusalem (Israel) – In retaliation for the killing of its commander, Haj Mohsin, also known as Fuad Shukur, the Iran-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah launched an air strike on Israel within 48 hours. Numerous rockets were fired at northern Israel from Lebanon. According to the Israeli military, only five rockets managed to penetrate Israeli territory. So far, no damage has been reported from this attack.

Israel conducted an air strike on August 1st in Chama, Lebanon, resulting in the death of four Syrian nationals and injuring several Lebanese citizens. In response to this air strike, Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel late on the night of August 1st.
