Suvendu Adhikari (BJP leader of Bengal) addresses BJP party workers
Kolkata (Bengal) – “We don’t need ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. We will support those who support us (Hindus). We will win the elections and save the Hindus”, said Suvendu Adhikari (BJP leader in Bengal and Leader of Opposition in the Bengal Legislative Assembly), while speaking at a party event where he demanded the closure of the Minority Wing (Alpsankhyak Morcha) of the BJP. ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is a slogan coined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Adhikari explained the reason for BJP’s defeat in the by-elections in Bengal. He said, “Thousands of Hindus were not allowed to vote in the by-elections. Millions of Hindus were not allowed to vote even in the Lok Sabha elections; because we are Hindus.
Henceforth, at the time of voting, Jihadis will be sitting in front of your houses from morning (to stop Hindus from voting). The Police will be mute spectators. We must wake up. Hindus were not allowed to vote in Ghatakpur and Bhangar, 10 kms from here. In Baduria, Haroa and Canning West, the Trinamool Congress won by one and a half lakh votes. The voting was not done based on voter cards but through slips. We want Democracy in Bengal. Hindus were not allowed to vote in Dhanekhali, Keshpur, Indas, Patrasair, Shitalakuchi. Goons locked me up in the house on the election day. We want Central security forces to be empowered to check the voter cards. The Constitution is not being followed in Bengal. We want to save the Constitution”.
Adhikari also inaugurated a website portal. “As promised, I have inaugurated a portal,” he wrote on social media. “Voters who are not allowed to vote can register their grievances on this portal. The privacy of such people will be fully respected”.
