Berlin – Many US military bases in Europe are currently targeted by terrorists. After receiving reports of a possible terrorist attack on these bases, US forces have been alerted. In this background, security has been tightened at these bases. These army bases have raised the alert level to ‘Force Protection Condition’ ‘Charlie’. This level of security is implemented by the US military when intelligence of a serious terrorist attack is received.
Such alert warning has come for the first time in 10 years!
A US official stationed at a base in Europe told a news agency that such an alert means the military has received reliable information about the attack. He did not specify based on which secret information the security has been increased.
