New Delhi – Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is on a 2-day visit to India. Hasina met Prime Minister Modi and discussed bilateral relations. Before that, she met the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr S Jaishankar. Both of them had an in-depth discussion on bilateral relations between the two countries. Hasina also attended the oath ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9thJune.

India seems to have good relations with Bangladesh. It also has good relations with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina; but still the condition of Hindus in Bangladesh is miserable. Hasina’s party officials are persecuting Hindus. The question arises, ‘Why is the Indian Government not putting pressure on Hasina to protect Hindus ?’ |
