Chennai (Tamil Nadu) – Srinivasan, 47, the husband of S. Nathiya, General Secretary of Tamil Nadu BJP’s woman wing, was fatally attacked in Chennai. The Police have arrested 6 individuals in this matter. Srinivasan is admitted to a hospital and undergoing treatment. Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was a result of personal enmity. It is said that this attack happened because of Srinivasan’s alleged involvement in a murder that happened a few years ago.
The attackers chased Srinivasan and stabbed him several times with a sharp weapon. Thinking that Srinivasan was dead, they fled the scene of crime. This incident took place in Annanagar. Those present at the site during the attack, took a video of the crime and put up on social media. The accused have been arrested after identifying them from this video. They are Rajesh, Prashant, Prakash, Srinivasan and Sarvanan.
