Tel Aviv (Israel) – At least 19 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes and shelling in central and southern Gaza. Israel has intensified its attacks following international calls for an end to the 8-month-old conflict. Hamas, on the other hand, issued a statement saying that the fighting will not stop until Israel commits to a ceasefire and withdraws its forces.

According to Palestinian officials, 17 people were killed in the Israeli attack on the refugee camps of Al-Burij and Al-Maghazi and the town of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza. Additionally, 2 policemen who were delivering humanitarian aid in Rafah were also killed in the attack.
Slovenia recognizes Palestine as a Sovereign State
