Left the house ignoring the opposition of the family

Poonam Alias Shama and Shivam Verma

Bareilly (UP) – Shama Parveen from Aurangabad in Bihar and Shivam Verma from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh loved each other but Shama’s family was against their marriage. Finally she came to Shivam despite the opposition and they arranged a marriage according to Hinduism. Shama converted back to Hinduism with a new name ‘Poonam’. A year ago, the two met at a wedding in Bihar’s Buxar and got into a relationship. Due to opposition from the family, she left home and came to Bareilly with Shiva. Acharya Pandit Shankhadhar of Agastya Muni Ashram located at Madhyanath arranged their marriage.

I have faith in Sanatan Hinduism – Poonam (previously Shama)

Poonam said that my ancestors had become followers of Islam due to the terror of the Mughal invaders; but I have faith in Sanatan Hinduism. I worship Hindu Deities. Women are not respected in Islam. Evil practices like triple talaq and halala are prevalent. I voluntarily converted back to Hinduism and accepted Sanatan Dharma.

Why don’t those, who preach that ‘love is not bound by religion’ to the Hindus opposing the conspiracy of ‘Love Jihad’, now give the same advice to Shama Parveen’s family ?
