Firing by terrorists in Basantgarh and Miran Sahib in Kashmir

Jammu – A member of the Village Defence Guard (VDG) was injured on 27th April morning when militants opened fire at a patrolling unit in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. The VGD succumbed to the injuries. A senior police officer confirmed the incident at the Basantgarh area of Chochru Gala Heights, and said they have cordoned off the area.

In another incident of firing by unidentified men, in a sweet shop of an Aam Aadmi Party leader Mirasahib Khajuria in the Miran Sahib Area of Jammu and Kashmir has been reported While there are no details regarding injuries and/or casualties, an investigation by the Jammu and Kashmir Police is underway and a social media account by the name of ‘Abbu Jatt’ has also taken responsibility of this attack.

Increase in incidents of ‘targeted violence’ against Hindus in Kashmir in the last month

1. 17th April : A worker of Bihar identified as Raja Shah was shot dead by suspected militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s southern Anantnag district during night.

2. 8th April : A tourist taxi driver Paramjit Singh from New Delhi was shot and wounded by terrorists in J&K’s Shopian district.

Lok Sabha Polls In Jammu And Kashmir To Be Held In 5 Phases

There are five Lok Sabha constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir and voting is going on in five phases. The first phase voting was held in Udhampur on 19th April, the second phase in Jammu on 26th April, the third phase in Anantnag will be on 7th May, the fourth phase in Srinagar on 13th May and the fifth phase in Baramulla constituencies will be on 20th May.

Since these attacks are being carried out by Pakistan, the source of Jihadi terrorism, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) should be first reclaimed and then Pakistan should be completely eliminated.
