One of the biggest wins for this Hindu unity was when the Union Government dropped the requirement for all export quality meat to be ‘Halal Certified’.
This is the true condition of the so-called democracy in India, as also of Hindus, who are the majority population of this country. It doesn’t let you say a word about such repression.
If this Bill is passed, Karnataka would be the first State to put a ban on halal meat. The halal issue had triggered in April during the Yugadi festival when a pro-Hindu organisation demanded to boycott of halal meat.
Advocate Ashish Anand said that as per the Constitution, except for Muslims, consumers of other religions cannot be forced to use Halal products.
