The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweeted that the Vikram Lander will now undergo an internal inspection.
Chandrayaan-3 will now be ‘deboosted’, meaning its speed will be reduced. As a result of this, the distance of Chandrayaan-3 from the moon will be at least 30 km.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is now heavily involved in developing a nuclear-powered spacecraft. To achieve this, ISRO has entered into an agreement with India’s leading nuclear institute the ‘BARC’.
The spacecraft will land on the Moon on 23rd August 2023 by 5.00 p.m. as informed by ISRO scientists. In 2019, ‘Chandrayaan 2’ could not land on the Moon successfully.
India will become the fourth country in the world, to send a spacecraft to the moon and the first country, to reach the south pole of the moon.
