Western media thinking that criticizing the Indian elections will influence them is pure illusion

EAM Dr S Jaishankar slams western media

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Addressing a forum for nationalist thinkers in Hyderabad, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar criticized Western media for interfering in India’s democracy. The Minister said, “I get a lot of these noises from the Western press and if they criticize our democracy, it’s not because they lack information. It is because they think they are also political players in our election. They think this criticism will affect India’s elections, but this is their illusion.”

Further, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said, “In an article by the Western media, they stated that in such a heatwave in India, why are they holding elections ? Now I read that article and I wanted to say listen, in that heat my lowest turnout is higher than your highest turnout in the best run”. Jaishankar stressed, “They (West) think they are part of our electorate”, adding, “I think it’s time today that we disabuse them and the best way that we do that is by confidence.”

Congress’s government did not take any action after the attack on Mumbai !

The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government “justified” not retaliating to the 26/11 attacks of 2008, as it “decided” that “hitting Pakistan would cost more than not striking” the neighbouring nation, stated EAM S Jaishankar, slamming the erstwhile Congress-led regime.

Editorial Perspective

The Western media always think they are wiser. They have more hatred and prejudice towards India, which is always evident ! It is necessary to rebuke such media and ban them in India !
