US bans 4 companies helping Pakistan to make ballistic missiles

These include 3 Chinese while 1 Belarusian company

Washington – The US has banned 4 companies for helping Pakistan develop ballistic missiles. These include 3 Chinese companies, ‘Longday Technology Development Key Shi’, ‘Tianjin Creative Source International Trade’ and ‘Granpect Company Limited’, and one company, ‘Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant Company’ from Belarus. These companies are accused of supplying spare parts for ballistic missiles that Pakistan is trying to build. “All these 4 companies have been found to be involved in proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, action has been taken against them”, said US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller.

After this ban, the assets of these companies in the US will be confiscated. Owners and major shareholders of the company will also be banned. Earlier, the United States had imposed sanctions on 3 Chinese companies in the case of supporting Pakistan’s ballistic missiles.
