Kolkata (Bengal) – Trinamool Congress leader Manobrata Jana who was arrested from Bhupatinagar in East Medinipur district in the state, his wife Moni Jana has complained against the officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Moni Jana alleged that the agency officials forcibly entered her house on the pretext of investigation. They beat up and used abusive words, and also vandalised the house. Due to this, the Bengal Police registered a case against the officers of the NIA. (This is ridiculous ! – Editor)
A team of the National Investigation Agency had reached Bhupatinagar as per the directions of the Kolkata High Court to investigate the 2022 bomb blasts. Trinamool Congress leaders Balai Charan Maiti and Manobrata Jana are the masterminds of this crime. When the officials of the National Investigation Agency started arresting the accused, the locals stood in front of them with sticks. They pelted stones at the officers’ vehicle. An officer has also been injured in this attack. Despite this opposition, the police took the accused to Kolkata. Officials of the NIA have filed a complaint against the attack at the Bhupatinagar police station. Police have not arrested anyone in this case yet.
