Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi – Rouse Avenue Court has extended Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s ED custody till 1stApril. Arvind Kejriwal himself presented his case to the Court. He is the first Chief Minister to do this. ED had asked the Court to sanction custody for 7 days.

While presenting his case to the Court, Kejriwal said, “A smokescreen of the AAP being corrupt has been created before the nation. I am named by four witnesses in the excise policy case. Are 4 statements enough to arrest a sitting CM ? It is a political conspiracy and the people will give an answer to it.” The ED in its reply said, ‘the Chief Minister is not above the law.’
