Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – Recently a professor from Prayagraj named Ehsan Ahmed re-accepted the Hindu Dharma. He will now be known as Anil Pandit. Ehsan Ahmed is working at the CMP Degree College as an Assistant Professor in the English Department. He has been associated with the RSS since 2020. While speaking about his ‘Ghar-Wapsi’ he said that he has thereafter married a Hindu woman. His wife is also teaching in the college. Ahmed is now going to change the information about his name and religion in his documents.
1. In his application to the administrative officers it is said that he got a lot of information about the Hindu religion after he came in contact with the RSS. He saw numerous good points in the religion and hence he voluntarily decided to accept the Hindu religion. He has not taken this decision on being coerced intellectually or otherwise. I would now like to change my name to Anil Pandit.
2. Pooja Mishra Prayagraj’s Additional District Officer speaking about this said, that she had received the papers about Ehsan Ahmed’s Ghar-wapsi and his application for name change. These are being examined now and later after due diligence Ehsan Ahmed will be given a certificate about his Ghar-wapsi. After that he shall be able to change his name in his identification papers.
3. According to the information given by Ehsan Ahmed to the media he had been influenced by the Hindu Dharma for a long time. He is a devotee of Deity Hanuman and has gone to temples and prayed.
