Beijing (China) – “The Indo-China border issue is not representative of their bilateral relations. We should have mutual trust, avoid misinterpretation and miscalculation, and then promote the relations between the two countries to move forward along a healthy and stable track”, stated Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, while responding to a question on External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s remarks that ‘amassing of troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has ‘not served common interest’.
