Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lashes out at BJP after CAA implementation
(CAA stands for Citizenship Amendment Act) |
New Delhi – “Three crore people are expected to arrive in the country due to the implementation of the CAA. Who will provide them with employment, housing etc. ? Will BJP leaders accommodate them in their own homes ?,” criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal the Union Government during a press conference, expressing his concerns about the implications of the CAA.
Kejriwal said,
1. The Union Government is working to settle and provide housing to Pakistanis by implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act. Government money should be spent on the development of the country but that money is now going to be spent on settling the individuals from 3 countries namely Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan in India. (Kejriwal Government is pursuing its own political interest by squandering Union Government funds in the name of giving everything free to citizens. Why is he not talking about it ? – Editor)
2. There are around 3 crore minority people in these countries. If we open our doors, these people will come to India. Even if 2 crore people come to India, who is going to give them jobs, houses, and education ? Will the BJP keep them in its house ? Will BJP leaders give them employment ? (Kejriwal has been the Chief Minister of Delhi for the last 10 years. To how many Indians has he provided employment during this tenure ? Will he provide this information ? – Editor)
3. The middle class of the country is grappling with inflation, and youth are struggling to secure employment. Instead of addressing these pressing issues, the Union Government has introduced the CAA. Due to this Union Government funds will be spent on Pakistani people. (Why doesn’t Kejriwal say that funds will be spent on Pakistani Hindus ? Is he ashamed to say the word Hindu ? – Editor)
4. The BJP is engaging in vote-bank politics by implementing such measures. BJP is the only party, which is doing dirty politics for votes. The people of North East India including Assam are strongly opposed to this Government’s decision and this has betrayed the people. People will respond to the BJP through their votes in elections.
