New Delhi – The Union Government through an ordinance implemented the CAA on the evening of 11^th March 2024, which was passed in 2019. The world responded to it in different voices. Pak’s former cricketer Danish Kaneria reacted by saying that because of this law, Pakistani Hindus can now breathe freely. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for implementing the CAA.

Renowned American singer Mary Millben expressed her support for the law. She posted, ‘Prime Minister Modi is taking the country on the path of peace. This law is a sign of true democracy. Christians and other minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will get religious freedom. Non-Muslims in these 3 countries had to face religious discrimination. Now they will get a dignified life. Their identities will be protected.’

Mary Millben added, ‘As a Christian, woman of faith, and global advocate for religious freedom, I applaud the Modi-led Government announcing today, the implementation of the CAA. Thank you, PM Modi, for upholding religious freedom.’
