A practical approach on how we can all come together will be chalked out at the Global Spirituality Mahotsav ! – Daaji (Kamlesh D. Patel)

While expressing his views in the press meet, Revered Kamlesh D. Patel, otherwise known as Daaji, said, “The whole idea is a learning from Swami Vivekanand. Many paths will come together in this four-day event. We will be exchanging ideas on how to bring about individual peace and how through this individual peace, we can create harmony within society. It will not be just academic, but a practical approach to how we can all come together. I keep asking this question to myself, that if not now, when shall we come together ? and if not us, who shall be together ? I am very grateful to the Ministry of Culture and our honourable minister who has taken this initiative to bring out various paths to come together under one roof and have a heart-to-heart dialogue on how we can change one heart at a time, and make this unification a possibility. We want to convey to the world that religions are not at a crossroads and that spirituality is here to bring people together. Psychological pollution is the biggest problem we have, but people don’t think about it. Solving this will bring about a solution to all other issues. Each organization, to me, reflects a little flower with a lot of fragrance. Many organizations coming together will create a garland of many flowers with a beautiful fragrance which we can dedicate to the Almighty God.”

Culture and Spirituality – a soft power of India ! – Cultural Minister

The Union Minister of Culture, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, expressed, “Culture and spirituality are a soft power of India. For mental peace, meditation and dhyana have become a part of daily life for crores of people. Spiritual tourism has flourished in India, and people from other countries are coming to India and staying in ashrams to learn spirituality. The Global Spirituality Mahotsav from 14 to 17 March has the same theme as the G20, to unite people and to spread the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, i.e., the whole world is one family.”

His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and Swami Bodhamayananda Swamiji also expressed their views through the press meet.
