Salman Khan from Hyderabad in custody for distributing money and broadcasting provocative videos in Uttarakhand

The case of Uttarakhand’s Haldwani violence!

Haldwani (Uttarakhand) – In Banbhulpura, 2 weeks ago, local fanatic Muslims attacked the Police after the administration demolished an unauthorised madarasa. After that, Salman Khan, who came directly from Bhagyanagar (Telangana) to Uttarakhand and distributed money in the violence-affected areas, and also circulated provocative videos on Instagram, was taken in by the Police for questioning. An investigation is going on regarding the amount of money he had brought to Haldwani. Police Commissioner Prahlad Narayan Meena said that the source of the cash distributed and the videos posted on Salman’s Instagram account are under investigation.

Salman Khan runs an organisation and Instagram account with the ‘Hyderabad Youth Courage’ name. After the violence in Banbhulpura, he was collecting funds for the Muslims there. In the videos he circulated, those killed in Police action were called ‘martyrs’. In another video, he was seen carrying a bag full of money to the people of the Banbhulpura area.

Editorial Perspective

This is a representative example of how the network of fanatical Muslims is working systematically across the country. To curb this, Government agencies need to dig up their roots.
