Bengaluru – “Our country is huge. It is crucial that no one speaks of breaking it. Thousands have sacrificed their lives to preserve the cohesion of this country over centuries of struggle. Numerous freedom fighters have dedicated themselves to maintaining India’s freedom and unity. Therefore, it is essential for everyone to contribute to fostering harmony within the country. Speaking in a divisive manner is inappropriate”, expressed Karnataka Home Minister and Congress leader Dr G Parameshwara on the statements made by MP D K Suresh a few days ago. D K Suresh had made remarks suggesting the separation of South India from the rest of the country.

Dr G Parameshwara added, “Although we were not born during the partition time, we are familiar with its history. Out country should remain as one.”

Editorial Perspective

If Dr Parameshwara shows the courage to suspend MP D K Suresh from the Congress, only then his talk will carry some weight. Otherwise it is just a drama or useless talk !
