New Delhi – The winds of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections have started to blow. Against this background, famous political analyst Prashant Kishor, while talking to an English newspaper, commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s possible successor. Kishor said, “No one knows about this. No one needs to guess about it. But in any case, Modi’s successor would likely be more hardliner than him. Modi would seem liberal when compared to his successor.”
Prashant Kishor added, “All the current BJP Chief Ministers are competing to appear more hardliner Hindu than their predecessor. So, whoever succeeds as the Prime Minister, will have no other option but to act on those lines.”
Yogi Adityanath needs a long time to reach Modi’s level !
Referring to Yogi Adityanath, he said, “There is still a big gap between Modi and Yogi. Just as Modi was unable to win the Gujarat State elections without Vajpayee, Yogi is unable to win the majority in the Uttar Pradesh assembly on his own. Currently, Yogi Adityanath’s name is widely discussed (as the next PM candidate); but he still needs a long time to reach Modi’s level.”
Editorial Perspective
Whenever an individual raises their voice for Hindus or works in their interest, his image is tarnished by tagging him a ‘hardliner’ or ‘radical’ ! Such attempts must be refuted at an intellectual level. |
