US air strikes against Iran kill 18 terrorists in Syria

Tehran (Iran) – An Iran-backed terrorist organisation attacked a US Military base in Jordan, killing 3 US soldiers. In response, within four days, the US launched air strikes at over 85 locations in Iraq and Syria associated with Iran’s ‘Revolutionary Guard’ and Iran-backed terrorists. These counterattacks reportedly killed 18 terrorists in Syria. The US Military targeted terrorist headquarters, intelligence centres, rockets and arms storage facilities at 7 locations. According to the ‘Syrian Observatory for Human Rights’ in the US, the long-range ‘B-1 Bomber’ was used in these attacks.

Our response against Iran starts today – Biden

US President Joe Biden stated, “Our response starts today. It will continue during our elections. The US does not want conflict in the Middle East or anywhere in the world; however, let it be known that if you harm an American citizen, we will respond.”

Protest by Iranian Military

The Iranian Military condemned these attacks, warning that they could destabilise the region. “These air strikes violate Iraqi sovereignty and undermine the efforts of the Iraqi Government,” said a spokesperson for the Iranian Military. The US Military responded that it had informed the Iranian Government about the attacks beforehand.
